- 5 Things You Can See: Look around and name five things you can see.
- 4 Things You Can Feel: Notice four things you can physically feel (e.g., the chair, your clothes, your feet on the ground).
- 3 Things You Can Hear: Listen and identify three distinct sounds.
- 2 Things You Can Smell: Notice two scents (or imagine your favorites).
- 1 Thing You Can Taste: Focus on one thing you can taste (gum, mint, or even the taste in your mouth).
