Sexual Prayers
You need to go through withdrawal in order to become a whole person.
It is not sane to repeat self-destructive behaviors; it is not sane to make the same mistake several times and expect a different outcome each time; it is not sane to believe that sex can solve our problems.
Some of us took up jogging, or other exercises that required greater physical effort to help replace sexual release…for a finite period.
Food Prayer
Here’s how food abstinence feels:
“Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.”
Positivity Prayer

Surrender Prayer
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
l remember your ancient laws, O LORD, and I find comfort in them.
This has been my practice: I obey your precepts.
Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.
I have kept my feet from every evil path so that I might obey your word.
I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.
My heart is set on keeping your decrees…just for today.
3rd Step Prayer
God, I offer myself to Thee, to build with me, and do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do Thy will always!
11th Step Prayer
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters, he restores my soul, he leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Prayer for Purity
For in her is a spirit
intelligent, holy, unique,
manifold, subtle, agile,
clear, unstained, certain,
not baneful, loving the good, keen,
unhampered, beneficent, kindly,
firm, secure, tranquil,
all-powerful, all-seeing,
and pervading all spirits, though they be intelligent, pure and very subtle.
For Wisdom is mobile beyond all motion, and she penetrates and pervades all things by reason of her purity.
For she is an aura of the might of God and a pure effusion of the glory of the Almighty; therefore nought that is sullied enters into her.
For she is the refulgence of eternal light, the spotless mirror of the power of God, the image of his goodness.
And she, who is one, can do all things, and renews everything while herself perduring;
And passing into holy souls from age to age, she produces friends of God and prophets.
For there is nought God loves, be it not one who dwells with Wisdom.
For she is fairer than the sun and surpasses every constellation of the stars. Compared to light, she takes precedence;
for that, indeed, night supplants, but wickedness prevails not over Wisdom.
The Businessperson’s Prayer
I pray for the opportunity,
the strength,
the desire,
the enthusiasm,
and the humor,
to serve others so that I can take care of my family and myself.
The Peace Prayer
I pray for:
peace of mind,
contentment,
satisfaction,
happiness,
…and serenity.
